What dock diving is
Dock diving is simple. Your dog runs down a dock, chases a toy off the end of it and lands in the water. Then they swim back, climb out and ask to go again. Most dogs work the whole thing out inside one session, and the ones who do not still have a good afternoon standing in the shallows.
It is the best exercise most dogs will ever get. Nothing pounds their joints, a dog who does not like being handled never has to be, and an hour of swimming tires out the kind of dog that a two hour walk does nothing for.
The pool runs May through October. Book it by the hour, bring your own people and your own dogs, and use the whole slot. Nobody is waiting behind you.
Private rental
per hour
One person and up to three dogs
The hour is yours
A private rental is thirty five dollars an hour and covers one person and up to three dogs. Every extra person or dog is five dollars. Five dogs is the most we allow in the pool area at any time, and that includes dogs who are only there to watch.
No one else is booked in with you. You are not sharing the dock and you are not queuing between jumps.
Slots run to 8:30 in the evening
Rentals start on the half hour from 9:00am and the last slot begins at 8:30pm. Evening sessions run all season, and they are usually the quietest hour of the day.
Bring with you
A floating toy
The one your dog already goes mad for. Bring two in case one gets chewed.
Towels
More than you think. A soaked dog and a car seat is a bad combination.
A life jacket
If your dog uses one. We do not rent or loan any equipment, so anything you need has to come with you.

Booking the pool
Booking happens in our online portal. Pick the reservation category other, choose dock diving, and pick your slot.
What you send is a request, not an instant confirmation. We approve it ourselves and you will hear back within one business day. Nothing is held until we confirm it, so please do not drive out on an unapproved request.
The portal will ask you to set up an account the first time. If you would rather not, or you have a question first, call 519-542-0070.
Lessons and classes
Lessons on the dock
We teach dock diving at every stage, from a first careful step onto the dock through to grab work. Sessions run one to one, or in a small group if your dog does better with company.
You do not need any experience and your dog does not need to be a certain breed. If your dog likes water and likes a toy, there is a version of this for you.
Private session
30 minutes
Any level. A first look at the dock, or refining a grab. One dog, one handler, nothing else booked in.
Group class
Three dogs maximum
Small enough that everyone gets real dock time. Dogs work one at a time and rest between turns.
Open night
Dates posted in the Facebook group
A relaxed evening on the dock with other handlers. Good for dogs who need to see another dog do it first.
Learn to Swim
Ask us for dates and pricing
For dogs who need the water itself before they need a dock. Confidence first, jumping later, if ever.
Everything runs through our Facebook group
Class dates, open nights and last minute openings are posted in the group first, and spots go first come, first served. Prices for anything other than a private session change through the season, so join the group or call and ask what is running.
Do I have to be a daycare or boarding client?
No. The pool is open to the public. Plenty of the people who use it have never had a dog here for anything else.
Does my dog need to know how to swim?
For a private rental, yes, your dog should be comfortable in water already. If they are not there yet, start with a private session or Learn to Swim and we will build it.
What if my dog will not jump?
That is a normal session. Use the ramp, throw the toy short, let them work it out. Nobody is allowed to push, lift or lure a dog into the water here.
Can I bring people to watch?
Yes. The base rate covers one person, and each extra person is five dollars. Everyone in the pool area is eighteen or over, or with an adult.
How many dogs can I bring?
Three are covered by the base rate and five is the hard maximum, counting any dog who is only there to watch.
Do you rent life jackets or toys?
No. Nothing is rented or loaned. Bring your own floating toy, towels and life jacket.
