Katie offers personalized one-on-one behavioural consultations aimed at addressing and modifying canine behaviour issues. Her approach focuses on reducing stress for both owners and their dogs by establishing strong foundational behaviours and promoting empathy by viewing the world through your dog’s perspective. Understanding the root causes of your dog’s actions can alleviate stress and prevent unwanted behaviours. Together, we’ll identify the triggers causing distress and work towards a harmonious life for you and your dog.
As a certified member of both the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants and the International Boarding & Pet Services Associations, Katie employs science-based methods and positive reinforcement in her consultations.

Training Classes with Linda of Clancy’s Way Dog Training
The Fox & Hound is delighted to offer a variety of dog training classes, led by the experienced Linda Quinton of Clancy’s Way Dog Training. Linda provides comprehensive training sessions on multiple evenings throughout the week, covering everything from Puppy Classes to Advanced Obedience. Our classes emphasize foundational skills and positive reinforcement techniques, aiming to correct common nuisance behaviours such as leash pulling and jumping while fostering calmness, stillness, and impulse control.
Basic Manners Class: This initial stage focuses on honing a dog’s attention and understanding of basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and recall, alongside leash walking and more, setting a solid groundwork for good behaviour.
Middle School Class: Advancing from the foundations laid in the Basic Manners Class, this level introduces more complex scenarios including accepting strangers, polite petting, grooming tolerance, loose leash walking, and crowd navigation, further enriching the dog’s obedience repertoire.
For detailed class schedules and registration information, please contact Linda directly.
