Katie Fuller’s passion for dogs began in childhood, inspired by her father’s American Fox Hounds and Jack Russell Terriers. This early exposure led her to a lifelong career with animals.
In 2001, at age 19, Katie opened her first grooming salon in Arkona. By 2003, she had expanded into pet nutrition, collaborating with industry leaders, veterinarians, breeders, world-class trainers, and sled dog mushers, and visiting numerous boarding facilities across North America.
Drawing on this extensive experience, Katie founded The Fox & Hound Canine Retreat on a 50-acre farm. The facility provides exceptional care for social dogs, ensuring their comfort and owners’ peace of mind. With its open concept design and comprehensive temperament assessments, Katie’s unique approach sets a high standard in Ontario’s pet care industry.
